Nova Research was established almost two decades ago to provide on site research and development support services to the U.S. Government. Principally supporting the Department of Defense and its collaborative partnerships with other agencies and institutions, the Company has earned a reputation for technical excellence and commitment to customer service. Nova has received multiple awards which officially recognize our contributions to our clients and the nation, in all aspects of our Company's operations.

In our first year of operation, the firm was nominated by the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) to be the Small Business Administration's Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year. This competitive national award program is given to small businesses who have clearly distinguished themselves with respect to providing superior products and services.

Similarly, our staff members have earned numerous awards and accolades for their technical accomplishments and service to our client base. Nova scientists and engineers have been recognized for their technical achievements through the receipt of the prestigious NRL Berman award, the highest honor in basic and applied research fields awarded by NRL. Our senior personnel have served on the editorial boards of many refereed scientific journals and industry publications.

Our research generates publications which are accepted to the most prestigious peer-reviewed journals in their field of study. As an example, Nova received the Award for the "Most Original Contribution" out of more than 1,000 submissions at the 10th World Congress on Biosensors in 2008.

Most recently, Nova was the 2009 recipient of the Laboratory Excellence Award from the Under Secretary for Science and Technology for the Department of Homeland Security.
